Connection lost

A quick update to the happenings of last nights game session.  Unfortunately one of the players lost his internet connection, so he could not join the usual Dogs in the Vineyard roleplaying game session, he could not gain access to the Google Wave, or talk on Skype because of it so had to bow out.  As it was on a short notice nothing else could be organised, so no one-shot this week.

However what the rest of us agreed on doing this time instead was to look in to a game we have been talking about running sometime in the near future, the game being called Tribe 8.  In the end we ended up creating our new characters ready for when we do kick off on this game.  Again this game will be run by Chris, and he lead us through creating our characters, and explaining a few things in preperation.  And at some later date he will go through the process again for Jason who could not make it last night.

Another thing we have talked about recently is this new Google+ system, thinking that maybe this could replace the Skype and Google Wave combination that we currently use.  It would be great if this could do it all in one package, and have some great tools for us roleplayers.  I have had a brief look in to it and tried to join, but unfortunately it has come back as being full, so left my email contact for an invite, pritty much how Google Wave was.  Hopefully I can get in on this and give it a test run with the other players running in our session.

  1. The lack of game last week has certainly given the remaining players a chance to discuss the possibilitys of a future game.

    Tribe 8 sounds intriging.
Hope you get the access to google+.

  2. Hiya, I am really glad I have found this information. Today bloggers publish only about gossips and web and this is really annoying. A good website with interesting content, this is what I need. Thank you for keeping this web-site, I will be visiting it. Do you do newsletters? Can not find it.

Hope you enjoyed the post & please feel free to add a comment.
